The concourse building... an icon ahead in its time.

This picture is taken of the concourse in the valley of old shop backlane along syed alwi road. This was an high rise office block completed in the mid-80's and it can be considered as a towering one along the beach road sector. One can also quickily spotted it off the kallang basin,Tg rhu coastline.                                                          If you could fast forward the year to 2004, please compare this architectural style to that of Taipei 101 tower, there is a resemblance of the protruding layered flooring design in both buildings.  So, an icon in the 80's could still be a relevant reference for one skyscapper in the 2000's.
